Opal Class have been finding about Easter in RE. Clever Cub brought in a palm cross and told Opal Class all about Palm Sunday this week. We made ‘Hosanna’ palm branch flags, chose joyful musical instruments to play and had a Palm Sunday Parade with one of our friends pretending to be Jesus riding the donkey into Jerusalem! We cheered “Hooray for King Jesus!” and sang a special Palm Sunday song!
